Tutorials are held by Bachelor students. Tutors assist lecturers when conducting an exercise or practical course. Normally tutors supervise a work group of students. Students must apply to the chair/professor offering the course and there is no entitlement to admission to a tutorial. Tutorials are generally aimed at Bachelor’s students and are not graded. Students who hold a tutorial should have successfully completed the assessment level.
A maximum of 6 ECTS credits can be acquired by holding tutorials.
Teaching assistantships are conducted by Master students. Teaching assistants support lecturers with demanding tasks, for instance when designing or correcting assignments or instructing tutors. Students must apply to the offering chair/professor and there is no entitlement to admission to a teaching assistantship. Teaching assistantships are usually aimed at Master's students and are not graded.
A maximum of 9 ECTS credits can be acquired through teaching assistantships.
