Tutorials

Tutorials are held by Bachelor’s or Master's students. Students must apply to the chair/professor offering the course and there is no entitlement to admission to a tutorial. There is no guarantee of admission to a tutoring position. Tutoring positions are not graded. Students who hold a tutoring position should have successfully completed the assessment level.

Bachelor’s tutors assist lecturers when conducting an exercise or practical course. Normally Bachelor’s tutors supervise a work group of students.

Master’s tutors support lecturers with demanding tasks, for instance when designing or correcting assignments or instructing Bachelor’s tutors.

A maximum of 6 ECTS credits can be earned by holding tutorials.

Guidelines

  • A tutorial can only be accredited to the degree once per student and academic level.
  • Successfully completed tutorials are evaluated with «passed».
  • The tutorial will generally be accredited to the degree in the same core elective area as the module belongs to.
  • The notification of the ECTS credits is done by the professor to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics. The course will be listed on the next transcript of records.
