Personnel and Leadership
In highly developed economies, human resources are essential for economic growth, innovation and international competitiveness, and therefore for societal prosperity. In the minor study program Personnel and Leadership, you will learn how these human resources can be developed efficiently through effective human resource management, strategic leadership and organization, and how institutions and companies can be managed effectively.
Building on the fundamentals of economics, the minor study program provides in-depth knowledge for analyzing complex relationships in the areas of human resources, leadership and organization and applying this knowledge to different organizations and contexts. The minor study program covers a broad spectrum of organizations, ranging from educational institutions and public administrations to private companies.
When designing your program, you can set your own priorities. For example, you can choose the types of organizations considered, the research orientation or the practical relevance of the content. In addition, you have the opportunity to participate in selected, research-oriented courses with an international focus, and to benefit from UZH's excellent international networking opportunities in the fields of human resources and leadership.
