02.08.2023Dr. Raphael Flepp and Dr. Yucheng Yang join our Faculty

As of 1 August 2023, we welcome Raphael Flepp and as of 1 September 2023, Yucheng Yang as new members of our Faculty.

Dr. Raphael Flepp has been appointed assistant professor of Sports Data Based Management and Economics at the Department of Business Administration.

In 2014, Raphael Flepp received his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Zurich. Since then, he has been in the position of Senior Teaching and Research Associate at the Chair of Strategic Management and Policy at the University of Zurich. With extensive research experience and a strong background in university-level teaching, Dr. Flepp's interests lie in strategic management and sports economics.

Dr. Yucheng Yang has been appointed assistant professor of Finance at the Department of Banking and Finance.

Yucheng Yang studied Economics at both Peking University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, US. In 2023, he obtained his PhD from the Princeton University. Throughout his academic journey, Yucheng Yang has demonstrated a strong passion for macroeconomics, machine learning, and finance. His previous roles as a teaching assistant, grader, and instructor for Economics-related courses at different universities have equipped him with valuable pedagogical skills.
