23.11.202320 Jahre Quantitative Finance UZH ETH

On Friday, 3 November 2023, the joint UZH and ETH Master's program in Quantitative Finance celebrated its 20th anniversary. More than 100 alumni and around 20 invited guests attended the event.

To celebrate this milestone, lectures were given by various personalities in the small aula at UZH. Among these were Prof. Walter Farkas (Program Director), Prof. Harald Gall (Dean of the Faculty), Prof. Josef Teichmann (Head of the Department of Mathematics at ETH Zurich), Prof. Freddy Delbaen (one of the founders of the joint Quantitative Finance UZH ETH), several alumni and Dr. Christian Bluhm (Group Chief Risk Officer of UBS) as keynote speaker. The second part of the event took place in the festively decorated Dozentenfoyer at the top of ETH, where the guets enjoyed an apéro and a seated dinner.
