02.11.2023Prof. Dr. Evgeny Petrov joins our Faculty

As of 1 November 2023, we welcome Evgeny Petrov as Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Business Administration.

In 2017, Evgeny Petrov received his PhD in Finance at the Swiss Finance Institute at EPFL. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Zurich, Evgeny Petrov held the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) from July 2018 to July 2023. His research research specializes in analytical financial accounting and auditing, with a primary focus on topics such as voluntary disclosure, earnings management, and information spillovers.
