As of 1 July 2024, we welcome Maya Eden as Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics.
Maya Eden studied Mathematics and Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and received her PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2011. She then worked for six years as an economist in the Macroeconomics and Growth Research Group at the World Bank. In 2017, Prof Eden was appointed Assistant Professor of Economics at Brandeis University in Waltham and has been an Associate Professor of Economics there since 2022.
